(More customer reviews)I purchased this item as a 2nd refrigerator for the basement in Jan 2010. At the end of Feb 2010 I opened it to find both the frig and freezer were hot and all my food was ruined. Frigidaire refused to replace it with a new unit even thought it failed in less than 2 months! They did pay to have a repairman come and replace the compressor. It cools now, however, the compressor blows the most horrendous-smelling air that I haven't been able to put any food in it. I have gone through 12 boxes of baking soda hoping the smell would fade over time, but it's now 6 months after my purchase and I haven't been able to use it yet. Frigidaire's only response...we'll send another repairman! I've never experienced such poor performance of a major appliance or such total disregard for customer satisfaction. Don't buy this product, or any other item, made by Frigidaire.
