Peltier cooling modules are solid-state active heat pumps that transfer heat from one side to the other based on the Peltier effect. Applying DC voltage to a cooling module transfers heat efficiently from a component to a heat sink which is then cooled by ambient air or forced air from a fan (heat sink and fan not included). Peltier devices are commonly used in portable coolers and for cooling electronic components.Note: Condensation may occur when cool side of module is lower than ambient air temperature. Attaching the hot side to a heatsink is required for proper operation (sold separately).
